Air traffic controllers have been flexing muscle.

German ATC could have all out strike starting Wednesday. This is going to be a big one. Just the threat can cause a sell out of rental cars across Europe. We will see. On another hand. German ground crew at Frankfurt Int. Will have a union meeting Monday. Highly possible they will just down tools without notice.
Update:-Sunday 9 October On Lufthansa site today. Flight disruption to be expected on Monday afternoon in Germany. Due to employee meetings at several German airports flight disruption are expected on Monday afternoon.
Now for France. A strike warning is in effect for Monday evening through to Wednesday morning by air traffic controllers. Best call your airline. Maybe all hype. Looking anxiously for more info.
UK Just about everyone or anybody is being balloted.
Greece planned strike for the 18 Oct. ATC joining in.
Qantas Airways is still kicking up. Friday baggage handlers scheduled strike was cancelled after management had re-scheduled thousands of passengers world wide. Oh yes, don't forget a death treat to the company head.
Spanish national airline Iberia announced new subsidiary "Iberia Express" to come into service next summer. Iberian pilots state it's illegal and threaten strike. Get ready for a nasty long drawn out show down. Do not book with them for November, December, New Year or Easter 2011. You will certainly get delayed or even worse loose your money.
Air Canada still waiting for flight attendants to accept a deal.
Leave early if using Toronto Int. security go slow.
Thomas Cook staff being balloted.
Icelandair Not up to date yet, but flight attendants were/are to strike this Monday.
Flying into Beirut, Lebanon or leaving nationwide general strike planned for 12 Oct.
